“My grandfather was a very wealthy man, Ms. Grambs. And it appears that, along with our family and people who worked for him for years, you have been named in his will.”
Dear diary,
Since it’s my birthday tomorrow, I reckoned that it’s only fair to write about one of my favorite book series. This is the first book of the trilogy, and once I started, I finished all three in a week and a half!
Avery Grambs is just trying to keep her head down and get through high school, being low-key and waiting to leave her town and start a new life after. But one day she’s pulled into the principal’s office to learn she’s been included in the will of a man she’s never heard of, let alone met—Tobias Hawthorne. And it’s not a small amount; it’s a whopping _____ dollars. (sorry, no spoilers)
Soon she’s the owner of a mansion and a boatload of money. She meets the Hawthorne brothers ( my god are they godly) and with their help she solves a labyrinth of puzzles and riddles to bring light to the situation- why she was left so much money.
The four brothers- Jameson, Grayson, Xandar and Nash- two of them on their knees for Avery, but all of have one motive, to solve this puzzle. My personal favorite is Grayson, the troubled guy, with the weight of the world on him and his jacked body and an undeniable allure.
It’s secrets after secrets and puzzles after puzzles.
Why was she left with all this money? Is her dead mother a connection?
