“Suffer. You could say it means endure, but that’s not exactly right”
Dear diary,
This book is like a psychological horror, and an absolute page turner.
The Sinclair family are…
old-money democrats with aggressive tennis serves.
they are sophisticated and strong with wide smiles and square chins.
they are liars.
This is a story of love and tragedy, of built up lies and secrets. One summer exposes the cracks in the Sinclair family’s spotless facade
This book was something very different compared to my past reads. It messed with my head and some parts had me go, ‘what what?’. I did find it really confusing but at the same time I couldn’t put the book down. It wasn’t the genre that I usually go for but was a refreshing change. I would definitely recommend this book, if you’re into psychological books which can get a bit creepy sometimes. I don’t want to give anything away so,
Which are lies? What is true? it’s up to you to decide.
